Combination Swatch Template (Freebie!)

This is a little template that I designed to help you create a set of swatches for the colors in your palette.  It is what we call a combination swatch, because it combines several different types of swatches into one!  It combines a layered value scale with opacity and lifting.

Making this type of swatch takes time because each layer of paint needs to dry before the next can be painted.  However, going through this process will teach you so much about each color, and you will begin to notice their striking differences.  All of this will equip you with a greater depth of knowledge and experience that will deepen your painting practice and bring you more joy.
