For the last several months, I have had the sublime pleasure of joining Lindsey Bugbee, my dear friend, DK author, and calligrapher behind The Postman's Knock, for a creative coffee chat each month.  We live stream these conversations via Zoom so that you can join in the conversation.  This month, we are delighted to be joined by artist and author Samantha Dion Baker, who we have each had the pleasure of working with over the last few years.

Here is how our creative coffee dates work:

• Nuts & Bolts: We'll begin at 9:30am Mountain Time (Denver, CO time) on Friday, October 17th and go until 10:30am.  Feel free to arrive late and leave early!  Conversation will be broadcast via Zoom, and link will be available on through our Patreon Watercolor Community, Lindsey's TPK Premium, and Samantha's Substack.
   
• Conversation: We always have project to catch up on, but will generally select a topic to concentrate on.  This time, we'll have the chance to catch up with Sam about her new book, her recent trip to Sicily, and what she's working on next.
   
• Show-And-Tell: We're excited to ask Sam what her current favorite sketch
  journaling and travel art supplies are right now, as well as exchange our current favorites.  We also enjoy getting to see your supplies and paintings too!
   
• Flexibility: Zoom conversations just aren't the same as a chat in the living room or the coffee shop, but it does provide the flexibility to join us from wherever you are, and you are free to have your video and audio off or on, as you choose.  You also have the option of participating via the chat box if you would rather type than speak up!  You are also welcome to come and go as you please.  Additionally, our chat will be recorded and available to view later if you cannot join us live.
     
• Q&A:  Lindsey and I each have a few questions prepared for each other and Samantha, but we hope you come with some questions too!  You can enter them in the chat box at any time or we'll open the chat up to questions as we go.
   
• Giveaway:  We always enjoy doing a little giveaway, however... This time we're doing a BIG giveaway.  Included will be Samantha's new book Draw Your Adventure, our Anthesis Set with a travel watercolor brush and our canvas kit bag, and Ziller Soot Black ink, a Nikko G nib with cork grip straight pen, and a Paris Map cleaning cloth from The Postman's Knock.  To qualify for the giveaway, you must attend the live chat!  Winners are selected in a variety of different ways - randomly, through trivia, or other participation.
