In watercolor, it is important to be mindful of the color of the erasers you use. Some erasers can smear color behind them on your nice white paper. This eraser is white and designed to be be very thorough while still being gentle on your paper.
So many pencil caps are either pink or brightly colored. It is so useful to have an eraser at the end of your pencil - especially a high quality white one. Many quality drawing pencils do not come with erasers at all. These caps are a convenient way to always have a nice white eraser at hand.
These come in a set of three, inside a small metal tin with a sliding lid.
