After years of requests for "dot cards", we are finally ready to offer one.  

Ours offers samples in tiny natural seashells, glued to the sheets.  Seashells hold more paint, keep the sheet (and its info) cleaner, and provide a magical painting experience.

Paper is 90lb. Arches, and you can select which finish is the best fit for you: hot press, cold press, or rough.

Next to each shell there is space for a swatch to be painted over our leaf (leaf is printed to help indicate how transparent a color is at a glance). You have the option to purchase an un-swatched version if you would prefer to fill in the swatches yourself!

The Supplement will contain the colors that ARE in included in the second edition that WERE NOT in the first edition.

Each color is labeled with an abundance of information indicating:

• Color Name
• Pigment Index Number
• Series Number
• Color Line (Main Line, New, Limited Edition, etc.)
• Pigment Type (natural, historical, synthetic, etc.)
• Lightfastness
• Transparency
• Granulation
• Variegation
• Value Range 
• Tinting Strength
• Staining
• Hue Category
• Chroma
• Dispersion
• Toxicity 

Samples include around 10 colors, including new and limited edition colors.  Retired colors are of course not included, as they are no longer in production.

*Price for supplement is proportionately higher than the full Sample Sheets because of baseline labor costs in our manufacturing.  Friendly reminder that our items are handmade in-house by skilled artisans paid living wages.
