This is a spiral bound watercolor sketchbook, bound with a metal spiral on the 6" side of the paper.
These pads are an easy and classic choice for a travel journal or watercolor sketchbook. The paper is nice and sturdy. However, there are only 15 sheets, so you may wish to pack a second for more prolonged travel, or plan to purchase an additional sketchbook while you are traveling. Additionally, the spiral binding is wonderfully convenient while you work as the pages stay nice and flat, however it can catch when packed hastily away with other books - spiral bindings are double edged with wonderful upsides and one annoying occasional downside.
