This palette is comprised of 12 magnetized Half-Pans of color enclosed in a travel tin, and accompanied by a hand-painted color chart.
This palette is designed around the watercolor characteristic of wide value range. In other words, these colors are not what they appear! This is because in the pan they all look like black watercolors because they have a very wide value range.
This set is great to use for creative exercises where you let the colors surprise you, or you can enjoy playing with a set of colors that can express a full range of values.
Personally, I try to seek out colors with a wide value range because it means they have a wider range of expression.
