Our Pigment Pearls Sample Sheets, Edition II contains 100 colors, including 10 new colors, a couple colors that are moving into retirement (Chilean Lapis Lazuli and Quinoxalinedione Yellow), and the elusive English Black Earth that has only ever been released before in our Raven Set, which is only availably annually on Black Friday.

After years of requests for "dot cards", we have created our own version.  

Ours offers samples in tiny natural seashells, glued to the sheets.  Seashells hold more paint, keep the sheet (and its information) cleaner, and provide a magical painting experience.

These sheets allow you to try out all of our colors.  You can use this as a tool to compare pigments and help you select the ones you will most enjoy.  You can also use this as a large palette - especially if you paint miniatures.  Other options include removing the shells from the sheets and adding them to existing palettes, cutting up your sheets so that you can arrange the colors in different configurations to plan paintings or palettes, or even to organize into a color wheel.

Paper is 90lb. Arches, and you have the option to select which finish is the best fit for you: hot press, cold press, or rough.

Next to each shell there is space for a swatch to be painted over our leaf (leaf is printed to help indicate how transparent a color is at a glance). You have the option to purchase an un-swatched version if you would prefer to fill in the swatches yourself!

Pigment Pearls Sample Sheets, Edition II contains three sheets.  Pages 1 and 2 each contain 45 colors, and page 3 contains 10 colors with spaces for your collection to grow.

Samples include our full line of 100 colors, including new and limited edition colors.  Currently retired colors are of course not included, as they are no longer in production.
