This palette contains a collection of all of our shimmering metallic colors in magnetized Half-Pans, enclosed in a medium sized travel tin, and accompanied by a hand-painted color chart.
Joining our existing six Metallic colors are FIVE new ones. These colors are named after the metals and gemstones they most closely resemble: Gold, Silver, Pearl, Copper, Brass, Bronze, Rhodolite, Emerald, Sapphire, and Amethyst (all of which would unfortunately make unsuitable pigments in their natural form).
These have been grouped together in one collection for those who want to add an iridescent shimmer to their paintings or for the traveling calligrapher. When wet, these colors have a luxurious creaminess to them that makes them perfect for dip pen calligraphy. They can also be mixed into your regular colors to give them a hint of shimmer, or simply added onto your traditional paintings to create details that pop.
Note: Faux Tarnish has a much more subtle shimmer to it. If you want to bump the shimmer, simply mix in some Faux Pearl or other metallic pigment of your choosing.
